Our Sponsor:

Robin Drake from New Zealand, who is also known as Ama (Ama means mother in Nepali) in the lower part of the Everest region, Nepal.

Her first visit to Nepal was in 2003 when she felt in love with Nepal, and at the same time she also discovered the many needs of the people here. Robin decided to set up a charity in NZ (The Band Aid Box Charitable Trust) to help for the people of Nepal. In 2005 the first free medical camp was held in Kharikhola for 10 days, and since then she has continued to co-ordinat annual medical camps with many volunteer doctors and nurses from New Zealand and Nepali contracted medics.

The Band-Aid Box Trust is also sponsoring our two children Dawa and Kandi Sherpa to attend Khari Khola High School and DhudhKoshi schools respectively.
